Who has the biggest bowl?

Today for maths we watched Goldilocks and the three Bears.

We started talking about what capacity is and what it means.

We used Rockies to find out which bowl held the greatest amount of riches and which one held the least.

The greatest amount is for father bear and the least for baby bear.

Oops we made a we bit of a mess as we were doing lots of finding out...

Turkana teina

This afternoon Children from Team Kereru came to help us set up our blog pages. Tuakana Teina is when our big learners are working together to help our younger learners.

Writing

Today we had a go at learning how to use a burger plan to do some writing. We are learning to write a recount about an exciting moment.
