Spring

Our room is looking very Spring like!

Daffodil poems

Today we published our daffodil poems and stuck them on our paper we made. Check out our blogs to see our poems.

Art -clay

Look at our awesome African animal heads we modelled out of clay with Miss Todd. There were lions, elephants, crocodiles, giraffes and hippos.

Blossom

This afternoon we have been busy making blossom trees using pink and white tissue paper. Some people have been writing blossom simile poems to go with our pictures.

Making cheese

Today we were very lucky to have Mrs Roy come in to make farmhouse cheese with us.  It was fasinating!  First we had to heat the milk to 75deg and then add lemon and buttermilk to make the mixture curdle.  We have to wait 2hours for the cheese to drain but luckily Mrs Roy had made some last night for us to try.  It was delicious!

Out side room3 there are five ducks. There are white ones , 1black, 1 grey and white one. Also there was a brown,blue and green one too. They are playing in a puddle and it looked cute.

Today is Miss Todd's last day with us. We will miss her! Good luck Miss Todd you will make an amazing teacher.

Cleaning up Edendale

Today is clean up NZ day so we walked around Edendale with Fonterra workers to pick up rubbish. After that we had a BBQ lunch and ice block supplied by Fonterra. Our town looks so tidy now!
