Easter Eggs are crunchy, yummy, sticky and some of them are even hollow.
So when the Easter Bunny comes I bet he will hide lots of eggs!

Today we made Crunch Bubble Slice at math time.  We have been learning about grams and kilograms.  We had to measure out the right amount for each ingredient we used!

Shaelin was comparing a 1kg weight with 200grams of rice bubbles.

Thanks Paige for bringing along the newspaper article about the Royals who were visiting the south yesterday.  They looked like they were having an awesome time.

Mass

We had a lot of fun this week learning about Mass (weight).  We looked on everyday products for its weight in grams and kilograms.  We compared and ordered objects according to their weight,,

We thought the taller people would weigh more but it wasn't always true!

1.5kg

both these weigh 1kg

this only weighs 100g
I would need 10 of these to make 1kg!

This tricked us because we thought the short fat sausage would weigh more but they  both weighed the same!
