Life Education Bus

We were very exited to visit  Teresa and Harold in the Life Education Bus.  We even took our giraffe Harry along to visit his cousin Harold!  We were learning about what makes us unique and what we need to have and do to have a healthy body.

                                                       We learnt about our five senses.

                                        We enjoy reading to our Year Six buddies after lunch.

Symmetry

This week and for most of next term we will be doing Geometry for maths.  We will be learning about symmetry, rotation, enlarging, tessellating and transformation.  We began by exploring symmetrical patterns and showing the line of symmetry in a symmetrical pattern or shape.

Off to Jellybeans...

Today we delivered our maracas to the Jellybeans Playgroup.  We had a lot of fun singing to the children and listening to them sing to us, using the maracas of course.  We then sang songs using the bean bags and parachute.  We read the children stories from our publishing books.  Thanks to Mrs Sinclair who walked with us to the Playgroup.  We are sure the children will have lots of fun playing the maracas!
