We are having a lot of fun this afternoon making paper. This is part of our inquiry with Miss Todd about the process of paper making.

Paige read Mrs Weirs favourite book, I'll love you forever, to the class. She read beautifully with great expression. Well done Paige!

Bruce Potter

Today we went to listen to Bruce Potter who is an illustrator and children's picture book author.

He wrote Penny the Prolific Pooing Cow. He also sang for us. We loved his illustrations and thought he was so clever. He gave us a sneak peek at his new book Doodle Bug - we can't wait!

Treasure maps

To go on a treasure hunt you need maps.  

We made pirate treasure maps with Miss Todd.  We screwed up the paper and stained it with tea so they look old.

For maths today Team Pukeko had to hid some treasure and then give directions to a buddy to find it.

Art racks

Huge thanks to our awesome Home and School who purchased three art racks for our use.  No more paintings drying on the floor!
