Prints

This week we have be learning how to do prints. First we did a drawing of what we wanted to put on our print and then we drew it on the printing foam. Then comes the hard part. You have use a pencil to press out the lines. Now we are ready to print!

Making butter

Today we made butter as part of our Inquiry 'paddock to plate'.  We have been learning about the process milk goes through to get to us. We used cream and beat it or shook it in a jar until we had fresh butter - yumm!

Alice's Holiday

Check out Alice's Blog for a great story about her trip to Wellington to hear her Grandad's last speech in Parliament.  She even got to go to John Keys house!

Piano Flat

On Friday Dad and I went to Piano Flat and there was lots of snow.  I played in the snow and I made a big, freezing snowball.  I saw some foot prints on the snow.  On the way to Piano Flat we saw some snow that looks like little drops of ice falling down.  I like when they land on your tongue.
