celebration time

These awesome people all got certificates at Celebration time on Friday afternoon for great work - well done!

Congratulations of Alice, Aaron and Paige who passed their addition/subtraction basic facts at four minutes - awesome!

Swimming

Last week and this week we are having swimming lessons at the Edendale School Pool.  We have two awesome swimming instructors that are making sure we learn to swim properly.  It is very important that we learn to swim because we live in a country with a lot of water in and around it!

Week 8

Alice brought along her enormous trophy that she won for Highland dancing last weekend.  She demonstrated one of her dances and we were very impressed.  Awesome work Alice!

Ryan brought along a fossil rock that he found.  We were very interested at the amazing fern patterns on the rock .  Great work Ryan!

Look at all the medals Paige has won for Ballroom dancing last year - wow!

Painting

Wow, look what we did today with Miss Todd!
We are doing a painting unit at the moment learning about landscapes and painting sheep.

Gabby's adventure

Gabby was lucky enough to spend the day with her Dad who is a milk tanker driver for Fonterra. She explained to us where they went, what they did and how they tested the milk - great work Gabby.

Frogs!

Awesome work Rueben who made these Frog posters after reading a book about Frogs.
