Sleep and exercise
Today we have been looking at why we need sleep.
Was started off with a bus stop activity. We had to write down our answers to the questions that were on the table.
Then we did some learning about important things to do before bed to help us sleep. We also learnt the reasons why we need to sleep.
Maths time
This week Team Pukeko has been learning to order numbers, identify tens and ones and make numbers.

The triangles are using the hundreds board to help them order numbers to 20.
The squares are hard at work on Mathletics.

The cold mountains
I heard ...the wind whistling in the mountains .
I saw ... Wolves howling and the polarbear walking.
I felt ... The tent swaying in the wind.
I wondered... I wondered how I'd get down the mountain.
