We have been writing poems about daffodils using similes this week. Then we did some daffodil art to go with our poems!

These wonderful people got certificates for great learning this week at celebration time!

Clean up Edendale

Today it was clean up day! The school went with Fonterra to clean up the streets of Edendale. Then we came back to school and had a barbecue.  Luke

Today we started to learn about light and how shadows are made. Some people drew around their shadows in the morning but by the afternoon their shadows were in a different place! We will have to explore how that happens!

Elgregoe

Today the whole school went over to the rugby club rooms to see Elgregoe. He does awesome magic tricks and teaches us about values and how to shop bullying.  We really enjoyed the show!
