Today was our triathlon. We'll done to the Year three teams and Paige who won the Year three individual race.

Celebration Time

Noah and Kerri's got certificates for great learning this week. Kody and Manmeet got certificates for reaching their goals.

We had our last session with Bex today. We did the Menzies Haka. We were great!

Our shared lunch

To celebrate our Kiwiana Day we had a yummy shared lunch. Some mums, dads and grandparents joined us. We had chips, marmite sandwiches, kiwi fruit, pavlova, choc fish, hokey pokey ice-cream, Cheerios, cake and Mrs Weir brought some crayfish in to try!

Birthday wishes

I got a big surprise this morning when mr students organised Harry to make a visit to sing Happy Birthday! Then Room one and Two arrived to sing to me also! Thanks everyone, you are very special!

Kiwiana Day

Today we are celebrating Kiwiana Day as  part of this terms Inquiry about life in NZ compared to other countries. We dressed up in something kiwiana and brought some food for a shared lunch. Manmeet dressed up in her beautiful Indian suit. We might even have a gumboot throwing competition later!

Cooking

Joaquin and Manmeet got to do cooking this morning with the other ESOL students. They made delicious waffles with caramel sauce, ice cream and fresh fruit. YUM!!

A visitor in our room

Alice brought her friend Louisa to school for the day.  Louisa is on holiday from Brisbane. Louisa heard us practising our song for the concert. I think she liked it!
