Janet de Wagt

Janet has been working in our school to help us with a River Art Project.  On Monday she was in Team Pukeko.  We made Pukekos, nests, spiders, frogs, worms and fish out of plastic bottles.  It was great fun and we can't wait to see the finished project!

Today Constable Graham came into our room to talk about her role and responsibilities as a police officer.  Arden was got to wear her vest and we saw her handcuffs, baton,, radio and pepper spray.

Pop in and read our leaf poems

It was quite tricky!
Can you see our hands popping out of the page?

Six times was the record!

One Minute!

At Maths time we were learning about what we could do in one minute.  How many dry weetbix could we eat?  How many times could we write our name neatly?  How many times could we tie our shoelaces?  Not as many times as we thought!
